INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGISTS
Who we are?
After completing 4 years of medical school, an Interventional Radiologist completes 5 more years of Residency plus 1 year of Fellowship study. During these 10 years, they go on to advanced training in the minimally invasive targeted treatments and the imaging technologies required to perform them. Being in a rapidly advancing field, doctor education is continuous from there!

Interventional Radiologist are Experts in Radiation Safety.
We care about the safety of our patients and adhere to tight guidelines for the lowest possible dose to our patients. Whenever possible, we combine imaging techniques like Ultrasound to increase the safety of our patients.
Interventional Radiology Means More Treatment Options.
In the past, surgery was often the only choice for treatment of many conditions. Today, Interventional Radiologists are able to offer options for a variety of treatments. Treatments that are as good, and in some cases, better than surgical options. It is important to know all of your treatment options before consenting to any procedure or surgery, and it is important that any treatment is part of your overall healthcare plan. That is why SAVI services can only be scheduled through your doctor’s office. Set up an appointment with your doctor to ask about interventional Radiology options specific to your unique situation.
